These books will allow my kindergarteners to bring books home to read each day. In our low-income community it is not always possible to have books in the home. This project will help my students improve their reading skills while building a love for reading and learning. Since this is the first school experience for my students, reading books at home each day will build a solid foundation for success in school and build a bridge between school and families. All children deserve to have the tools necessary to reach their academic goals and increasing their literacy skills will help them achieve those goals.

About my class
