Our girls' basketball programs and I are beyond excited for this project. Usually, the girls' are accustomed to getting hand me downs; wear and tear equipment that still has some functioning left; (in which we are beyond grateful for). However, there's nothing like being the first to have brand-new equipment and YOU being the first to try it out. Think back to your childhood! How exciting was that right!? The majority of the students we service reside within the inner-city neighborhoods and have very minimal resources or sources of income to support the funding it takes to run an organized sporting program successfully. Since no fees are collected and most families are struggling to meet financial needs, all of our funding comes strictly through fundraising. This year we’re working hard to provide girls basketball programs with new basketball equipment. Our students work extremely hard during class and on the court. Though many of our students face challenges, they do not allow those challenges to hinder their success. Your donation will help them in being the best student-athlete they can be. Thank you for your support!
