I need these group work centered tables so I can continue the method of problem based learning. When students come to me, they have no prior science teaching and then bam... here it is, in a tested subject ONLY in 5th grade. I capture the minds of my students by letting them work through their learning process 100% hands on! I incorporate as many activities, projects, and task as possible to make the learning mean something to them and make a connection with them. These tables with designated space in the center for supplies will foster group work and allow them space to reflect when needed.
