If you were to come into my classroom today you would see a classroom library that would make any educator cry. Not because it is a wonderful world of reading but because it is full of out dated, torn to bits, doctored up books that are no where close to the reading levels for the grade that I teach. Books are what we need...good, entertaining, leveled books that my students will want to read over and over again. The books that I have chosen for this project are leveled and can not only be used by my students in the library but as well in our daily guided reading groups. The Step Into Reading Leveled Books for Step 1, 2 and 3 are a great way to get each of my groups engaged in new and fun books.
