I currently have 9 educational robotics kits for my 3rd-5th grade AIG students. Due to class sizes, students often have to work in groups of 3 when programming the robots. Ideally, students should have the opportunity to work independently or in groups of 2 to maximize their learning experience. Adding another robotics kit to my classroom will help reduce group sizes and maximize student engagement. By donating to my project, you will directly impact my AIG students' engagement and academic growth. Robotics at the elementary level builds a passion for computer programming and a foundation in Engineering. Best of all, it allows students to learn while PLAYING! The Lego Mindstorms kit includes various challenges with fun, problem solving opportunities for students.
