Through teaching in a pandemic and all the rules and restrictions, we forget the importance of interaction between grade levels. The one thing my students and I miss is book buddies. We are working on virtual book buddies and partnering with a 5th-grade class. While this is a struggle we would like to continue once we get back in person. To make this possible would still have a virtual meeting with the kids in the building but will need headphones to help with the noise pollution. In this way, the students can interact with people around the school without physically being in the room with them. Please help us keep our school community built and not crumble.
