Our goal is to help our students fall in love with reading. We can achieve this by providing a rich classroom library with books that interest them. We currently have some books that are falling apart, have missing pages and look out-of-date and students get turned off by them. We want to give our reluctant readers material that is so interesting they can’t resist reading it. We want to help them find something so compelling that our students forget they are reading. Our students came up with a list of books that they have expressed tremendous interest in. It would be so great to see them excited to fill their book baggies every week.
