My students are AMAZING! 7th grade math isn't the easiest thing for my students to learn, but they come in and give me all they have got. We are in a poverty stricken middle school (92% economically disadvantaged), where school is a warm (or cool), safe place to be. I teach a wide range of students. Students who have not been successful on our state assessment and students who have only gotten commended. I have special education students who are excelling and improving every day. I really do teach a hard subject but I find that my students and their challenges, motivate me to be a better teacher and a better person.
