My twenty-four fourth grade students are amazing! They have diverse interests, personalities, and abilities, yet work together daily to learn and grow with each other. I appreciate that they are capable, curious and love to discuss ideas, which makes for a rich and engaging day for them and for me. My students are also at an age where they are eager to assume responsibility and show what they know; therefore, they are nearly able to "run" the ins and outs of our classroom on their own, with just a little guidance from me. My desire is that they leave fourth grade with even more curiosity and desire for learning, the ability to be strong collaborators and teammates, and to be caring and considerate people.

About my class
