I recently chose to change careers leaving the private sector to teach high school math in a Title I school. I teach Geometry and Algebra II. Every day my students enter my classroom. My goal is to build relationships and sell them a product that very few of them want to buy. My days are long and exhausting ... and I love every minute of them! More than any fundamental math skill that I teach my students, they need to learn how to think critically and how to believe in themselves.
