My students will use the 5 building sets to make patterns and to build different things. They will be using their minds and hands while doing this. I am also asking for several different dinosaur manipulative's; bones & matching, used in my math center and fossil dig set used in my sensory center. These items can also be used to teach science. The bread stacking set is a great manipulative to teach patterns while allowing the students to use hand/eye coordination to stack the beads. With each of these items, my students will be using several learning styles; kinetic, tactile, visual & auditory. While students will be using these hands on items they will also be using their minds too. These items will be very helpful teaching my PreK students this year and years to come!
