My 6th graders come from all over the Twin Cities. They are the "big kids" at our small charter school. They are funny and challenging and I want to challenge them back. These kids have so much potential- they just need motivation and encouragement. My students each year are incredibly talented but do not always have to best outlets to express their unique thoughts and creativity. I want to introduce them to characters that face challenges through their stories as well as expose them to different lifestyles.
