Our school is located in Urban Colorado with a population that is predominately high poverty. We are beginning a new school in an old building. This means that from day one, students should be comfortable to perform at their best so we can set them on a path to success from the very start! Our art room has been turned into a fabulous studio setting that will inspire and motivate students to learn and get creative! This means they should be able to move about and be empowered to work independently. However, with the room reaching almost 90 degrees it will hinder students ability to focus on creating wonderful pieces of art. Instead they will be thirsty, overheated and tired due to the heat.

About my class
