I teach kindergarten and first grade students with autism spectrum disorders at a title 1 school. They are an energetic group with a passion to learn and inquire. They are a very unique group of children with a large variation of abilities. Our school is a public elementary school for students in grades Pre-kindergarten to fifth grade. It is a title 1 school where 100% of the students in my class are on free/reduced lunch. In addition, there is also a large English Language Learners (ELL) population. I would love to be able to provide them with daily sensory experiences to help them feel more comfortable while having fun and learning at the same time!
