I currently teach first grade, a very important grade level in a child's school career. In first grade, my students learn to "be" at school. They attend all day, for the first time ever! Even though they are only six years old, they are expected to sit at desks, work on learning activities, and stay focused for longer periods of time than has been required of them their whole lives! We learn a lot through cooperative activities and the 7 Habits of Happy Kids helps us to be the best leaders we can be!

About my class
