I teach twenty-two, first grade students in a Title One school in South Carolina. My students come to me with a variety of experiences, skills, and needs. It is my job to help them form a community and grow as learners. My students are creative, enthusiastic and ready to learn about the world around them. They need every opportunity to gain real world experiences to help them on their learning journey. We work together everyday to learn not only how to read, write, and do mathematics, but also how to be active citizens.

About my class
