My students are curious about upcoming technologies and how they can be used as careers and the possible future of creation for them as they get older. This past year I actually had 2-3, 5th grade students that decided to take coding or robotics in their middle school year due to what they were able to experience in my class this past year. Not to mention a few parents that told me their kids now wanted to go into computer and software engineering when they grow up. This year I want to provide more experiences that can show kids that technology isn't just playing games, it's a career and a future they can chase after. So to do this I am looking to get a HTC Vive PRO for the students to experience the most cutting-edge technology available. A piece of equipment that I can use to teach kids in the up-coming years and one that WON'T become outdated in the next 2-3 years. I know this is a big item to ask for. But it's one that I believe will change the lives of these kids and ignite CREATIVITY in an age of Consumption. One that will show them what they can create and achieve along with everything else I have prepared for this year. I believe we can achieve this! But not without help!
