I work at a fabulous school in a small, rural town. The students, families, and teachers are dedicated and amazing and we love what we do. Our school is a Title I school, and most of our students receive free or reduced lunch. Most of the teachers provide for their classrooms from their own salaries, including myself. Our budget for this school year does not allow for classroom supplies at all. As a new teacher, I lack the math and science resources necessary for rigorous and relevant instruction. I expect the best from and for my students, and need help providing them with the tools to reach success.
