We are introducing reading workshop this year to our kiddos. During this time each day, students are able to pick out books that are matched to their individual reading level, interest them, or something we have read before. During this time they are able to enjoy the book wherever they are comfortable in the room. These books will help the students become enthusiastic towards reading and play an active role in their beginning literacy skills. These books will support and challenge them individually as they grow as readers. The books will give the class the confidence and drive to become life long, enthusiastic readers.
