I am a band director and teach in 4 different schools for the School District of Philadelphia. Most of our students are low income/below the poverty line. We let students borrow instruments from the district during the school year, therefore all the supplies that go along with the instruments come from whatever myself or the school can provide. Obviously, in order for these students to successfully learn how to play their instruments, they need the proper materials to go along with their instruments. Clarinets need reeds and trumpets need valve oil. Please help keep the arts and the music ALIVE in PHILADELPHIA!
