By adding these materials and games to my classroom, I will be able to provide my students with a variety of engaging learning experiences from within the classroom. My students will enjoy small group time when these games are played while feeling encouraged and excited to continue practicing their reading skills independently. By choosing multiple literacy games, my students will be able to play these games in a small group setting, no matter what level they are on. I will be able to use the Pop and Match set all year long, starting with beginning sounds, then moving on to middle and ending sounds when students are ready! The Launch and Learn Rhyming Sounds Game will be a great starting place for my early readers to apply and blend sounds they have learned to make rhyming words. The Magnetic Sound Sorting Boards can be used in small group or independently as the year progresses and will help my students reinforce alphabetic knowledge in a fun, hands-on, engaging way! By donating to this project, you will help enhance student learning in a kindergarten classroom, where the foundation and love of learning begins!
