My students are from a small rural town near the Gulf coast. Many of their parents here were devastated by the combination of Hurricane Katrina, Gulf Oil Spill, and the financial crisis of 2008. Many of my students don't have computers, IPADS or even Internet at home. When I told them that we were going to have a Robotics team they were overjoyed, because they had never been exposed to anything like this!
