Students will not only use the magnetic boards to practice writing but also their math. They’ll be able to use magnetic manipulatives with their boards. Games and puzzles will be used in small group play allowing the students to work cooperatively. My students will love the flexibility in the chair cushions! They will be able to sit and work or read any where in the room. I will be excited to build up my Math board using the magnetic ten-frames and tiles. This will make our Math board a fun, interactive way of discovering how to compose and decompose numbers.
