Students are asked to develop critical thinking skills and to work on meeting rigorous standards, yet they are required to sit in uncomfortable chairs and outdated desks. We need to help students meet their potential, by giving them alternative seating options that will help to maximize focus. Yoga balls and alternative seating will help students to focus on instruction and their classwork. A variety of tables will allow children to collaborate and problem solve, in order to succeed with Common Core Standards. Yoga ball stands will help to keep the seating organized, while not being used. My students and I are excited to begin this journey!
