STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) teaches children to explore, observe, predict, and design. Integrating STEAM into my students play will enhance our curriculum. I often find my students building the same towers. Having these STEAM kits would help my students learn to expand their current play. These reusable kits will also allow students to revisit a difficult challenge and create more than one unique answer. The possibilities for learning are endless. STEAM activities are hands on and engaging. They require students to critically think and ask open ended questions. I believe my students would greatly benefit from these science kits as they would have the opportunity to face new design challenges with exciting and new materials.
