The bean bag seats will enhance student learning by motivating them because of the comfortable colorful setting. Providing this positive environment will make a world of difference in their lives. The comprehension intervention journals will provide added support and fit nicely into my clasroom balanced literacy motif. Reading intervention needs to be purposeful and focused. These journals will be fun to use and provoke the necessary practice my bilingual students need. Classrooms need to be bright and inviting, especially for reluctant struggling readers. Providing this positive experience will develop a lifelong love of reading and powerful memories for my students. The comfort will wash away their inhibitions for reading in English.
