Thinking creatively is the spice of life. There are so many times when we give students restrictions about what NOT to do. I want to build a space where students and community members can share ideas, be creative and solve problems collaboratively in real time. I want to build a wall that we all can write on. My plan is to create an interactive dry erase wall in our school's entrance way, with the title, "Yes You CAN Write on The Wall". I will be installing these magnetic dry erase boards together to cover a 6' X 10' area, and using the magnet strips to create magnetic words. I envision this wall to be a place where these magnetic words form poems, where questions are posed and responded to and where art work evolves collaboratively. My goal is to begin to re-create our schools spaces to encourage creativity and innovation. This is just the beginning.
