Students are at school for more than half the day and are expected to sit on plastic chairs for most of it. This is an unrealistic expectation for learning these days. My students are very active and are constantly moving. They need a way to release their extra energy in a safe, flexible way. Having flexible seating will not only minimize behavior problems, but will allow students to take control of their learning. Flexible seating will allow my students the option to choose where they sit during the day, which will increase student engagement and productivity. Flexible seating will not only help our Tigers this year, but for years to come!
