"Every child, every day" is the motto our school has adopted for the year. We must keep in mind that not every child learns the same way, every day. I educate many hyperactive, energetic, fidgety students that need to be constantly moving. Our middle school students are so active and yet we expect them to sit still in a cramped desk for extended periods of time, lasting an hour or more. I'd like to incorporate some new learning modalities into my classroom beginning with offering different seating options to students.
