Having small group reading is essential for our class. I have a full room of little ones, with different levels of readers, even letter recognition is concerning. The books will be used for small groups, leveled out, to accommodate 3 different levels of readers. The stamp set is also essential as this will help with letter recognition, and to assist them with spelling words, and blending sounds. This can be done independently. This is also an important skill needed today. With online learning at such a young age, most were unable to navigate for themselves, leaving a dependency on the adult. Providing these materials will help create a true learning environment and allow each student to learn what they need, so each one can grow on their level.
