After reading the project STEAM into Learning by Mrs. O'Brien I was inspired to apply her ideas to my own students! Our new STEM curriculum will allow my students to extend their knowledge of engineering and design. This will expand their horizons and further their literacy and math concept learning. By adding engaging materials to our STEM curriculum, it will help my students become better prepared to solve the creative problems of the future. Students will use blocks, Legos, pipe cleaners, straws, index cards, dominoes, and tape to build their imaginative designs that connect to our literacy and math curriculum. This process will build my students to become problem solvers and critical thinking skills in order to build college and career readiness. Your donations will build our future leaders!
