My middle school class consists of six boys, who are in a self contained behavioral classroom. They only leave the room for unified arts which is about a hour day. Some of my students disabilities include Asperger's syndrome, anger management issues and ADHD. All of my students receive free lunches and most come from a difficult home life. Some of my students are also fighting the pressure of joining gangs in the area. These students deserve a safe learning environment that includes the tools necessary to expand their minds and enrich their education.
