My students are just beginning to learn about ten frames. Most of them know numbers 1 through 10 and can count sets accordingly. This is the next step in their process of number concept. Students will actually have a hands on experience in learning. This manipulate will be a great asset to our workstations. When asked to make a certain number for the ten frame they will be able to put the magnets on to their card. It will also be a wonderful tool for checking mastery of the skill. Hands on experience of ten frame will be wonderful for each of them.
