The items will be used for star and eclipse parties where we can use math and science to challenge the students' comprehension and spur them on to study. My students believe that you actually can catch a falling star, I want them to see the universe's wonder. The telescopes will allow them to see the vastness of our universe. This summer will have a solar eclipse where we will be able to teach them about this phenomenon. Our school is named for an astronaut, we want to encourage our students to follow in his footsteps and choose science as a career.
