Every year I am blessed with a wonderful group of seven and eight year old children. The second graders that enter my classroom are instilled with the importance of good manners. They learn that it is easier to tell the truth, to be polite to adults as well as their peers, and appropriate behaviors at the lunch table. Our classroom is a bullying free environment in which the students learn how to help and not hurt. In our classroom life lessons are a major part of our curriculum!
