With the world changing around us, my students need to be given the opportunity to get comfortable with technology and how to work safely with it. In my classroom, we utilize our classroom desktops and school iPads. With both types of technology, students are mostly unprepared with headphones or elbow room to use the computers. I often record myself reading to the students and often times students who need that asssistance are unable to listen because they forgot their headphones. By having a classroom set of headphones in my classroom, I am able to provide my students with the opportunity to complete their class work with less distractions. As well as give my students one less item to worry about. Our desktop computers are covered with wires coming from out for the keyboard as well as the mouse. With the wireless keyboards and mice it allows them more room and flexiblity to use complete their online work.
