I have diverse learners on many different reading levels. My students come from low-income homes and sometimes unstable living conditions. Unfortunately, within my school the majority of the students qualify for the state's free or reduced meal program. Due to the current influx of migrants seeking asylum, my school's ENL population is increasing which means we need more resources to ensure a smooth transition and an environment where students feel that learning both language and content are within reach.
