One of the hardest parts of learning the English language is learning to speak confidently. I am requesting a classroom set of headphones for students to use to listen independently to stories as well as practice reading aloud while recording their voices. They will be able to review their reading, and practice fluency. Donations for this project will help students hear their own voices and gain confidence towards the language with their peers. By increasing the confidence in our students, they will acquire the proficiency needed to deepen the understanding of the grade level content, which will prepare them to overcome challenges with higher education and beyond.
