In an elementary school library,​ the kids don't come to study-they come to find engaging books so that they can learn how to read, or enjoy reading! Having them sit at tables is not efficient for them because they get uncomfortable and fidget more trying to find a comfortable position. Think about this; when you sit down to read a pleasure book-do you sit at your kitchen table? How about at your desk at home? Probably not right-you may cozy up in your favorite chair, or on your couch with a blanket, somewhere comfortable where you won't need to move around so much. These flexible seating couches and floor pillows will allow the students to sit more comfortably and not only engage in but absorb what they are reading better. I want our library to be a place children want and love to come to and enjoy comfortably and happily.
