My students aren't always willing to be at the carpet and write at the same time without a hard surface to write on. Having portable desks will help enhance their writing and make the carpet seem more inviting. Some students in my class can only focus when they are able to move at the same time. Wobble stools will allow them the ability to do both and in turn be more successful throughout the day. Giving students the choice of what to sit on during instructional time and independent work time, will help eliminate an inability to focus and create a learning environment students are happy to be a part of.
