I am asking for a document camera so that I can model for my students how good readers annotate text. We annotate every text we read and it is nearly impossible for me to demonstrate how to do this with my current set up. A document camera would allow me to project the text to my TV and the students could see in real-time what annotation should look like. I also ask my students to write extensively in my classes, both social studies and English Language Arts and having a document camera would allow them to see what I am asking from them.
