Science content and concepts can be very difficult for students to understand in just a verbal setting, but by incorporating hands on activities that are fun and interesting students can learn and explore these difficult concepts by doing. These inquiry-based laboratory kits and models that students can manipulate will be incorporated in various investigations in multiple science classes. These laboratory kits such as; erupting volcanoes, identifying families, DNA replication, chemical reactions, and energy and motion will ensure that my students will be investigating science content with relevant and engaging activities. All of these materials and kits will be incorporated in the Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, and Environmental Science curriculum. Learning science should be fun and interesting for all students, not just for the ones who are good at memorizing. Students need to learn science by doing!
