Workstations help to meet all my students developmental needs and would make their learning more meaningful. During workstations, the students rotate to each center and are able to choose to work independently or with a partner. They complete word work, reading, sight words, math concepts, and other concepts that we have been learning during whole group instruction. The materials will give my students the opportunity to practice literacy and math skills with hands-on, engaging activities. Children can practice a variety of skills through manipulatives, including: *Reading (word work, phonics, comprehension, fluency) *Mathematical Concepts (addition/subtraction, patterning, money, geometry, and shapes) *Social Interaction with Peers *Problem Solving
