As part of my science class, I do weekly lab activities. These labs are designed to help students understand the science concepts that are being taught. My students learn best when they can manipulate tools themselves. By providing these digital gram balances, my students will gain more hands-on experience practicing measurement. I will be able to divide my students into smaller groups which will allow each student more time and practice measuring correctly. These balances will be used to learn more about the Law of Conservation of Mass, grams vs ounces, grams converting to kilograms, mass vs weight, and accurate measuring.
