This excursion would make a huge difference to my students, as they have been working year-round to fund raise for their trip to Europe. Our students come from low-income homes and we do not want to add further expenses to the trip. It's one thing to see these famous places on the Internet or in a movie, but it is a whole other thing to see Paris illuminated at night. My students have learned about these historical places for years in the class, but now it is time for them to experience them first-hand. This experience will be something they will remember for a lifetime.
