As a school social worker, I work with teachers, administrators, and families to support students, including those with disabilities and English Language Learners, to enhance their academic progress. Our school is an ethnically-, economically-, ability-diverse school. Fifteen percent of the students are English Language Learners whose families are all here with the hopes of achieving the American Dream. To do that, education is key! We are a close-knit school community who serve as the village to raise these children to become responsible, global, contributing members of our society.

About my class
