Flexible seating gives students choices in how they want to learn. It gives them the freedom to be who they are and be successful be fidgeting while they work. I am a strong advocate for student choice by providing my students opportunities to learn in various ways. The wobble chairs and chair bands will help keep students engaged and focused by giving them the freedom to move. The light covers will help provide a soothing learning environment and eliminate the bright flourscent light bulbs which can cause migraines or difficulty in concentration. I know it sounds strange to change the standard chair, but think about how you would feel learning and working in a wobble chair. You'd probably be more effecuebt in your work too!
