Developing a classroom library filled with books my students want to read, is nothing short of a dream! Reading not only increases a students' vocabulary, it also helps them to develop stronger inferencing skills, imagination, and writing skills. When a student opens a new book, I want them to feel like they are stepping into a new adventure. I want them to feel excited about reading! I want to be able to open whole new worlds up to them, especially at a time when a lot of students are feeling more isolated than ever.

About my class
