High school students have a great struggle keeping focused and on task when studying and trying to concentrate on their work. Some of our students have trouble sitting in one place too long, or get distracted easily and cannot complete their work. Others have anxiety that makes it difficult for them to concentrate. By donating to my project, these students will have an alternative to the standard seats in my computer lab. With a wobble stool, those students who have trouble staying in one spot will be able to move around and still get their work done. Others may just need a chance of scenery and prefer to recline in a beanbag with their Chromebook on their lap. By giving our students these options, I hope we are giving them the tools they need to be successful in their classes.
