I teach at Seventh Ward Elementary, which can be described as a small community school in Vermilion Parish with a little over 200 students in grades PreK to 5th. I have been teaching just over 20 years and 17 of those years have been in second grade. I am a regular education teacher that teaches all subjects. My school is always looking and researching various ways we can meet all learner types. We are constantly working with our principal to come up with new ways for our students to succeed. I am blessed to work at such a close knit school where our students come first.
